Roundstone House Hotel is ideally located in the heart of the scenic fishing village of Roundstone overlooking the breathtaking scenery of the bay and rugged Connemara. The village was built in the 19th century by Scottish engineer Alexander Nimmo and is set against the wild and rugged splendour of Connemara and its Twelve Bens mountain range. Nearby Dogs Bay and Gurteen Bay form a long curving shore which joins a mile long granite island to the mainland. Activities in the area include sea angling; watersports; hillwalking; pony trekking and golf.
