Built in 1703; Churchtown House was associated with some of Wexford's most powerful families involved in the 1798 insurrection; notably the Herron Family whose son John later became one of Napoleon's favourite generals.
Today; Patricia and Austin Cody have returned Churchtown to its former glory and in extending it; have combined its traditional elegance with all the comforts of a small and distinctive hotel. Large elegant reception rooms hung with Irish paintings and individually appointed bedrooms make this the perfect breakaway retreat.
