Wholly Satisfying Visit in Antrim > View Antrim articles
Co. Antrim is a part of Northern Ireland and is considered to be the ninth largest county in Ireland in terms of area. The main towns of Antrim are: Belfast, Carrickfergus, Antrim, Lisburn, Ballymena, and Ballymoney. Each holds a distinct character of its own. Each of these towns is worth a visit if you are planning for an ideal getaway expedition.

Belfast is the ultimate place to stay for whatever purpose you had in mind when you planned your adventure. All day long, this place continues to lure its tourists and guests. A walking activity will be ideal if you intend to sweat the stress away. Popular walking tours include the Titanic Trail and the Blackstaff Way Tours. In Belfast, you and your entire family can definitely have a load of entertainment and amusement. This town is certainly rich in historical proofs which you can always visit. What’s more, Belfast’s food is equally perfect as its location. And I deem it necessary to mention as well that nothing beats night life in this vibrant town.

Carrickfergus is the home of a number of Antrim’s attraction too. It is well famed for its lures that range from renowned churches to ancient castles and from scenic views to fine dining and stay. The Carrickfergus Castle highlights the place.

Lisburn has a number of prides worth revealing. Some worth to mention are the historically relevant Irish Linen Center and Lisburn Museum and the splendid Island Arts Center. This place is best known for its exquisite restaurants and pubs that come alive every night. You can even indulge in a cruise at Lisburn’s pride: Lagan Belle River.

Ballymena is the perfect spot for shopping lovers. This location is well famed for its prevalent retail outlets. An additional edge to this town is its best restaurants. People in this part of the county are the lively ones and they seem to be quite busy with life.

Ballymoney is a very accessible town. It is just a few distance away from the famous Giant Causeway and the Nine Glens of Antrim. Activities that await you in this town include walking, bowling, tennis, golf, cycling, canoeing, water skiing, shooting and swimming. Visit Balleymoney and take with you your own choice of activity.

Indeed, Antrim is one the few top places to visit for a completely satisfying escapade. Each of its town has an edge over other locations.
