Come to Letterfrack, Co. Galway and you are on the verge of enjoying the Connemara National Park. This is regarded as one of the National Parks in Ireland. This park has its extensive vast land covered with bogs, grasslands and woodlands. It encompasses four (Benbaun, Bencullagh, Benbrack and Muckanaght) of the twelve bens of Galway. What is considered to be the most abundant and frequent plant in the entire Connemara Park is the purple moorgrass which has a grand effect on the shade of the park. This park also contains some rare plant species which can mostly be found on the higher areas of the mountains.
