The Kildare’s Round Tower can also be found within the cathedral’s grounds. Standing 108 feet from the ground, the tower offers a scenic view of Kildare.

The heritage center is strategically located at an 18th century market house in Kildare Town. Another point of interest that you should not miss in Kildare Town is the Irish National Stud. The Irish National Stud attempts to develop further Kildare’s major economy trademark: bloodstock. The stud houses some of Ireland’s finest thoroughbreds. In its impressive setting lies the world famous Japanese Gardens. This garden was set between 1906 -1910, and for years, it has lured countless tourists and nature buffs. Aside from the Japanese Gardens, St. Fiachra's Garden also rests spectacularly at the Irish National Stud. This garden is set in honor and reverence to St. Fiachra, the patron saint of gardeners.
