Co. Cavan is popularly considered as the lake county because of its 365 lakes. This county holds a relevant history worth reminiscing every time you set foot on its ground. Cavan is from the word “ Cabh’an” which means hollow. But personally, I do not see any relevance to the “hollow” thing because for sure Cavan is overflowing with beauty and treasures.
