The Bantry House and Gardens brags its history that dates back as early as the 17th century during its purchase. In the early 19th century, visitors and guests of Co. Cork were allowed to enter the house and marvel at its rich collection of antique furniture and works of art. This house is considered as a historic mansion as it has been weathered by a number of historical passing. The house is still owned by the descendants of the Earls of Bantry.
