My personal favorite is the Gleno waterfalls. This nature-perfect waterfall has been developed as a tourist attraction and has always been a never-miss spot for visitors since then. A lovely bridge that crosses the river has been built for guests to have a closer view of this exceptional mass of strong current of water flowing smoothly and reuniting with the river that waits below. The Gleno waterfall attraction is sure to be a refreshing place where you can give your weary mind its much needed break.
It wouldn’t be any surprise if the minute you walk in the foyers of Causeway Road, you will immediately be captivated by the scenic views ranging from heart-stopping cliffs to wonderful ocean sights. You can also catch a glimpse of the city’s Ampitheater, Chimney Tops and Port-na-Spaniagh that appear to be like sparkling stars during evenings.
I would suggest an exhilarating walk early in the morning while awaiting the coming of the sun over the horizon or a romantic stroll while watching the sun sink gently into the ocean wonders. Occasionally, you might also be able to catch buzzards and peregrine falcons fly around the cliffs. So if you feel you need to relieve your mind and body off the load of everyday life, head on to the Causeway and get that instant enlivenment.
Visit the Antrim Castle Gardens and the Ballyboley Forest. The green colors and the gentle leaves blowing in the wind provide that soothing effect. Plus, plants provide a limitless supply of oxygen which your body needs to function well, this for no cost at all. Flowers and trees remain to be a popular source of peace and tranquility for almost all types of people. Who could even reject the enchanting charm of these smiling and blooming flowers?
Enjoy the view, appreciate its beauty, breathe in the fresh air, look up to the calm skies – these things can be quite relaxing. You may also pick up a quiet corner, bring out a book or a notepad and a pen and then you can either start reading or writing your composition.
Anywhere in Antrim is a perfect spot for a romantic escapade, a relaxing get-away or maybe even for that simple unwinding your busy schedule is thirsting for. A place that certainly deserves a spot in any Ireland traveler’s itinerary.
